Live Better
We treat each other, and ourselves, the way we do because we see each other, and ourselves, the way we do.
Living better starts with seeing better.

Just Released!
Hi everyone. I’ve finally finished my first book and am grateful to be able to share it with you! It combines stories from my personal experience of loving and losing my daughter Naomi with elements of neuropsychology to provide insight into the grieving process. At its core, this book is about discovering, accepting, and rebuilding yourself in the midst of grief and trauma. Often the most illuminating wisdom is found in the darkest places. If you or a friend are experiencing grief, or you want to better understand what someone may be going through, this book will bring perspective and optimism. It’s my hope that my experience will play a meaningful role in yours.

Community Portrait Project
The goal of the Community Portrait Project is to inspire people to look at each other, to see beyond the surface and consider there is an entire world behind the faces we see each day. It captures and shares personal stories to engage the paradox that we are all the same yet completely unique.

Keynote Presentation - “Always and Forever”
I was honored last July to be the Keynote speaker for The Compassionate Friends National Conference in New Orleans.
Love can be defined many ways. The definition I put forth here frames why we experience grief the way we do and how we might rebuild our life through love. This video contains excerpts from that presentation, a link to the full video can be found in the description.
