Concluded

The Emerging You - Session

Union Hall

328 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502

3:00 - 4:30 pm

For the last five years I’ve presented this session at The Compassionate Friends National Conference. I am incredibly excited to share this here at home in Manhattan, KS! Over the last ten years, I’ve learned about grief not only through my own personal loss, but from walking alongside others. It led me to study the brain, specifically, how we think, respond, and process life. In this session I present four phases of grief based on neuropsychology. The goal is to provide an understanding for why you feel and behave the way you do and to normalize the experience of grieving. There is a new you being formed; my hope is to encourage that emerging you.

This is an interactive lecture. Bring your cell phone to anonymously participate in the conversation. To make this event available to anyone, tickets are “pay what you can.” (Suggested ticket price is $15.00.)
